Join us for a powerful presentation by Professor Denis Ferreira da Silva (New York University) where she will discuss her most recent book, Unpayable Debt, which exposes how coloniality and raciality operate in the juridical, ethical, and symbolic systems that facilitate the takeover of labor and extraction of land. We will explore how deadly diseases, such as COVID-19 and dengue, are exacerbated within these systems obstructing health as the maximum expression of well-being.
